The apartment was around 90 square meters, and I stayed there for a week, but I didn’t feel very comfortable. Hygiene was poor, and the service from the local agent was disastrous. An elderly woman mainly occupies and rents out the apartment. Although the lake was right nearby, there was no real lakeside feeling: the only outside access was an overgrown, mossy roof balcony, and the place felt like an apartment with a skylight. Other owners in the complex were very keen to lecture holidaymakers about where they could sunbathe or swim. It was a complete disappointment for me. What a shame.

The description leaves out some important details. The garden and barbecue area are about 500 meters from the entrance, and dogs can stay in the apartment but aren’t allowed in either of those areas. There’s no sidewalk between the entrance and exit, so you end up walking in the gutter beside heavy traffic. Drivers don’t seem to follow the speed limit, which makes it quite dangerous. The caretaker also wasn’t in a good mood, and friendliness didn’t seem to come naturally to him.

The town was well placed, just 5 km from the largest city, Intro am Lago, and the apartment itself was great. We had a view of the lake from its location.

The grounds were very well maintained, and Lago was right by the lake. The accommodation was okay, though the room could have been a little cleaner.

The air conditioning wasn’t working properly, which was a shame. The apartment itself is brand new, very nice, and extremely functional.
