The attic bedroom with its exposed beams was a lovely place to fall asleep to the rain, though the ceiling is a little low. We were delighted to arrive and find the fridge and pantry stocked, and the apartment had every comfort. Residenza Fornaro is in the quiet village of Premolo, 600 meters above sea level, with magnificent views of the peaks and valley. We hiked with our dog, visited charming villages and towns, and, as food lovers, tried local treats from capú and casonsei to polenta e osei, a Bergamo dessert, and mountain cheeses. Michela was wonderfully kind and available throughout. We'd recommend a stay here and hope to see you soon!

A donkey nearby is the morning alarm here, instead of the usual rooster! We came for a weekend break from Bergamo's muggy heat, and it was cool both indoors and out. The breeze through the rooms was plenty, so we didn't miss having air conditioning. A really relaxing stay, even with our two children.
