Agriturismo Tenute di Hera

The pool is a peaceful little retreat amid all the greenery, and the whole property feels lovingly cared for. Le Tenute di Hera is a real escape from city chaos, a place to slow down and recharge in nature. It’s full of calm and beauty, and has an authentic feel. We’ll definitely come back.

What made our stay at Tenute di Hera special was the combination of nature and warm hospitality. The owners, Marco and Francesca, greeted us with genuine smiles and were attentive and ready to help. They even made breakfast for us, although it wasn’t included. We loved the independent stone apartments, which were clean, comfortable, and carefully maintained. Each has a kitchenette for a relaxed breakfast or dinner. Outside, there’s a garden of over 1,000 square meters, barbecue facilities, and a pool with a sun terrace, loungers, and umbrellas. The Lazio countryside setting is enchanting, with lovely hill views right outside the front door. The animals were a real highlight. Gino and Pina, the alpacas and emus, made the visit feel close to nature and delighted both adults and children. Nearby, you can explore Orvieto, Pitigliano, Civita di Bagnoregio, Lake Bolsena, natural hot springs, and walking or mountain biking trails, all just a few kilometers away. A great choice if you want peace, nature, comfort, and warm people. We’ll be back soon. Thanks so much!

We spent six days here, surrounded by greenery and quiet, and had an excellent stay. The animals were lovely to have around, but never a nuisance. They were clearly well cared for and loved. Marco and his family were wonderful, helping us with tourist information and anything else we needed.
