Gioia 13 Apartments

A handy base for exploring Procida, with shops and restaurants close by. The apartments have a lovely terrace, plus a rooftop terrace area.

Cosy modern flats right in the center of Procida. Shops and the way down to Chiaia beach are within walking distance.

The apartment itself was nice, with two very pleasant terraces and a small kitchenette in the bedroom plus another one on the terrace. It’s a B&B in Procida. On the management side, things were only okay. We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights, two adults, a 2-year-old child, and a small dog. There were just two large shower towels, two face towels, and two for underwear, and they were never changed during the whole stay. The tiny garbage can filled up quickly, but nobody replaced the bag. With nappies and the dog’s pee pads, which I always use away from home, you can imagine how that went. There were no bins downstairs for the rubbish, and they hadn’t even left spare bags. Same with toilet paper, only two rolls. I messaged on WhatsApp to the number they’d contacted me from about information, asking for paper and towels. The answer was that they don’t change towels, and they’d bring toilet paper that evening. I think 3 stars is enough.

The view was superb, and the rooms were very cool. Still, we paid quite a lot for what was offered. Our apartment was in Coricella, and nobody mentioned the 40 steep steps up to the house. It wasn't clean, and the shower was gross. The staff tried hard to sort out the problems, though some couldn't be resolved.
