B&B Il Nido

Dominic and his family made our holiday unforgettable. We arrived feeling like guests at a family home, not a guesthouse, and the rooms were comfortable, tastefully arranged, and exceptionally clean. They were cleaned every day. Dominic was attentive and kind from the start. He made a fresh breakfast each morning and even brought us fruit. When he learned we don’t eat pork, he bought bresaola especially for us and made sure it wasn’t cut with the knife used for other meats. He also gave us a regional map with restaurant suggestions, beaches, and local sights, and was always keen to help with anything we asked about. The setting is beautiful, with lovely views and the peaceful feel of a small Italian province. It reminded us of the timeless, romantic village atmosphere in The Godfather, when Michael meets the love of his life. There are good restaurants within walking distance, plus handy shops, including one like Germany’s DM. There’s plenty of free parking, and it’s pleasant just to walk around and explore. We found no downsides, only advantages. We’d been to Italy before, but this was the first trip that made us fall in love with the country and even dream of moving there. Dominic is the best host we’ve ever met. This b&b is so well run it feels like a small hotel, with a lovely breakfast room and a big, cozy fireplace. Breakfast was delicious, with both savory and sweet options, and Dominic bakes all the cakes himself. He seems to do everything, a real superman. There’s a small car park across from the b&b. We highly recommend staying here, and trying the cakes too.

A peaceful, pleasant b&b near the lake and the nature around Lago di Garda. The host is professional and helpful, doing everything he can to make guests comfortable. Good value for the price. Recommended.

Marylin, Sandro and Dominic are great hosts, as always, and the food is fantastic. I’ve stayed in the accommodation before, and the rooms are comfortable and well maintained. A reliable place to stop when you’re around Lake Garda.
