The house was really clean, breakfast was great, and the owner was incredibly friendly and nice. Everything was super, and totally worth it.

Breakfast was served in the nearby village, where we ate on a sunny terrace with a magnificent lake view. The accommodation is convenient for the lake and has generous parking just outside the gate. It’s part of a villa, with the bedroom on the ground floor and the bathroom downstairs, so there’s plenty of room. Everywhere was meticulously clean, though the basement had a slight musty smell.

The place felt peaceful, and the cleanliness was excellent. I liked the homely wooden furnishings and the bright, practical rooms. Our dog was welcome, with a €15 fee for the later sanitizing. On arrival, a cheerful, kind young man gave us a map and lots of ideas for nearby activities. The terraced house has a small, tidy private courtyard with a table and an olive tree for shade. It’s arranged over three levels: three double bedrooms upstairs, each with a TV and a bathroom with a shower and bathtub; downstairs, a spacious basement room with a double bed, sofa, dining table, and its own large bathroom, which would suit a couple wanting extra privacy. The ground floor has an eat-in kitchen, a welcoming living room, and a basic second bathroom with just toilets. I especially appreciated the good coffee machine, with one pod per person, and a small bottle of water for each guest. One downside was that there was no separate waste collection system, though I don’t know if that’s because of local waste management. The rooms are NOT wheelchair accessible.

The team was super friendly and always ready to help. My Italian and English are limited, but we always managed to understand each other. Breakfast is simple and fresh, with two kinds of sausage, jam, honey, eggs, and cereal, either ready or freshly prepared. It’s not right on Lake Garda, but easy to reach by car or bus. We’d definitely come back.
