Camping Flumendosa

The superior bungalow had a very comfortable bed, and we slept really well. It’s in a great spot right beside the beach, surrounded by nature. The restaurant food was surprisingly good despite the very basic setup, with plastic tables and chairs. We’ll definitely come back.

I’ve never stayed at such a horrible campsite. The staff were unfriendly and inhospitable, everything was dirty, and the showers and toilets were disgusting. The shower smelled like sewage. Go to Flumendosa if you want to ruin your vacation.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and both the restaurant and market had reasonable prices. A cappuccino was 1,30€. The toilets were clean, although some doors wouldn’t lock. There’s a nice beach just a few meters away that’s good for kids, but it doesn’t show up on Google Maps. Prices were similar to other campgrounds. We stayed with three kids. The grounds aren’t fully shaded, and the pool costs extra if you stay less than seven days, which was a shame.

The Kampaoh tents look lovely, but once you step out, it’s just sand, with no grass, nowhere to hang wet clothes, and nowhere to cook. We paid €148 a night and never got clean towels or sheets. With sand everywhere, how are you supposed to keep the tent clean? The caravans on the camping area look like they haven’t moved in years. The campsite feels outdated. Toilets are small and have no locks, toilet paper is often missing, and there’s no hot water for washing dishes. The playground is falling apart, and the restaurant is badly organized. We waited two hours for three pizzas, and they weren’t even good. There’s no love in this place. Don’t go until they put money into making it better.
