If Estay isn't the owner, I'd recommend changing them. The automatic check-in is a joke: you complete it, but then have to ask the staff at the property whether it worked. Once finished, it takes you back to the start without saying if everything's okay. I sent a WhatsApp message 15 minutes before arriving and they thanked me, but when we got there, there was no information about how to get in. We eventually reached someone and got inside. The secure gates weren't working, there was a lot of work going on and plenty of trash, though at least we could find a parking spot 😂. Nothing in the room worked, including the AC and fridge. I sent another WhatsApp, and after a while they gave me another number. It belonged to the electrician, who told me to "turn on the electric sistem" 🤣🕯️👌. Even with WhatsApp read receipts turned off, I could still see that my messages had been read, and replies took a long time. The small patio needs some care, and two tiny shampoo sachets and a little soap aren't enough as a courtesy for two people staying two nights. There's no mosquito net, either.

Months after I booked on a non-refundable basis, the hotel cancelled and offered an alternative with an average review and no reviews on here since 2016. Bizarre. I phoned and spoke to the owner, who said it was a mistake and knew all my details. Then the booking agent with Booking.com said the booking was still cancelled, and emailed to say I hadn't spoken to him, even though I had and he had my details. Sorting it out wasted hours, and since it was a last-minute booking I had fewer options. Terrible. I'm still waiting for my refund.

Choosing this place was a nightmare from beginning to end. I wish I hadn't stayed there. Avoid it if you can!

The host was really bad, and the experience ruined my trip.
