The one bright spot was a few people: the housekeeper cleaned very well and was very kind, the night receptionist helped us sort out the air conditioning, and the young man serving breakfast, who speaks French, was helpful and professional. Thank you to all three. The rest of the experience was a huge disappointment. The beach is rocky, basic towels cost €3 to rent, and bottled water that sells elsewhere for €0.69 costs €3.50 here. We weren’t even given a complimentary bottle on arrival. Dinner is €45 per person per day, which felt like a joke. The pool is tiny and looks nothing like the photos. The hotel is isolated, too: it took us 1 hour and 45 minutes to get there by bus and train, and a taxi or Uber would cost around €120 one way. We booked a double bed but got two singles. The air conditioning barely worked, so the night was almost unbearable. The manager was extremely arrogant, and we had a heated argument with him. Staff attitude in general left a lot to be desired, and at breakfast hardly anyone understood English. At 9:50 AM, after the eggs had run out, I asked for some. The manager, speaking broken English, said it was “almost 10:00” and breakfast was “over”. For a supposed four-star hotel, that was completely unacceptable. He was as unpleasant as the rest of the experience. Breakfast itself was a disaster: nothing Italian, nothing fresh, nothing special. This absolutely isn’t a four-star hotel. Honestly, I wouldn’t even give it two.

Make sure to bring water shoes, since the seabed can be rocky as well as sandy. The beach is beautiful, and you can drive to other lovely beaches nearby. The hotel has a simple four-star resort feel, with spacious, clean rooms and air conditioning. Only hotel guests can use the pool and beach, so book your umbrella and chairs through your booking for your stay. Staff can take care of your food and drink needs. I didn’t try the spa because the seaside was already so stunning. Service was good. It’s a place to relax and take everything at your own pace, as you do in Sardinia. I spent a week here with my partner.

It’s a lovely spot for a relaxing holiday, with a small hotel, separate apartment blocks, a good-sized pool, and its own beach. There’s a car journey between the hotel and nearby towns or amenities, so having a hire car or something similar is handy for exploring other beaches and activities. The staff are wonderful, and there’s entertainment by the pool each evening. The gym, tennis and crazy golf are nice to have, though they’re showing their age.

Everything was perfect for us. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the food was amazing, and the beach is just a few meters away. There’s also a huge swimming pool. The hotel is excellent!
