B&B Montedarena

We were treated wonderfully during a relaxing weekend in this peaceful, green setting. My husband, our two children, and I spent our time exploring some of Salento’s beautiful beaches. One of the prettiest is just over 400 meters away. The room was spacious and cozy, the whole property was clean, and breakfast had a good variety of things to get the day started. I recommend it for a truly restful holiday.

I left this lovely corner of Puglia with a heart full of gratitude, after a short holiday filled with warm embraces and smiles. I’ll definitely return, for the sea, of course, but especially to see the people who made me feel at home. The spaces and amenities are easy to describe, but the real magic is the sense of familiarity, friendship, and empathy. You have to experience it. The B&B is a peaceful villa just minutes from the sea. Montedarena beach is a beautiful five-minute walk away, and the garden is shaded by fragrant pines, with tables, comfy armchairs, a swing, and even a hammock. After a day in the sun, it’s a wonderful place to unwind. There are three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, and a cozy shared living room with sofas. Everything is orderly and clean, the interior smells lovely, and you can hear birds in the garden. The hospitality is what makes it special. You feel like part of the family, with genuine kindness that’s always there without being overbearing. The landlady lives across the street and is always available. She reassured me so sweetly when I felt a little apprehensive on my own. Anna, who helps run the B&B, is warm and thoughtful too, greeting you in the morning with a delicious breakfast and a friend’s kind of warmth. Both of them touched my heart.

We spent seven days here with our six-year-old, and couldn’t have picked a better place for a holiday in beautiful Marina di Pulsano. The B&B is peaceful and about 400 meters from the sea, less than a ten-minute walk. The lovely historic center of Pulsano is around a ten-minute drive away. Marilena helped us make the most of the trip, suggesting beaches and places for dinner, and often booking local restaurants for us. The room was spacious, recently renovated, and always spotless, with mosquito nets and all the essentials. There’s also a lovely outdoor area with loungers, sofas, a swing, a hammock, and lots of greenery to relax in after the beach. Breakfast was always plentiful, and Mrs. Anna served it with courtesy, friendliness, and a readiness to help with anything. I highly recommend staying here.

The sea is close by and easy to reach on foot, and the neighborhood is very quiet. The rooms are spacious, the beds comfortable, the air conditioning works well, and everything was very clean. Mrs. Marilena and Mrs. Emi were welcoming, attentive, and helpful with my needs. As someone with celiac disease, I appreciated the wide breakfast selection. We’ll definitely return.
