La Bussola

The beach was the highlight for us: clean, quiet, and lovely to relax on while enjoying the view and sun. Our room, „Giglio“, was just right for our family, clean and comfortable, and we could unwind after beach days or trips. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we felt looked after whenever we needed anything. The mini golf could use some maintenance, but we still had a nice time with it. We didn't use the golf area where most guests spend their time. We felt very comfortable at La Bussola Beach Hotel, and the clean room, welcoming staff, and beach location stood out. We'd happily book it again and recommend it.

With tennis courts right beside it and the golf course only about five minutes away by car, Hotel La Bussola is well placed for both. It's part of the Punta Ala golf resort, among flowering bushes, fragrant pines, and a sandy beach. The hotel has modern, air-conditioned luxury suites with massage pools and spacious terraces. Staff are very friendly and try to accommodate guests' wishes. The parking area has well-kept canopies, plus its own electric vehicle charging station. I definitely recommend it.

We tried this place twice, once for lunch and once for dinner, and both visits disappointed. The location is very good, but the food was poor quality and overpriced, the service felt pretentious, and even the dessert menu was a disgrace. The crowd was really old, and children didn't seem very welcome. We were rushed out. There are plenty of good restaurants along the coast where you can get a similar experience with much better service. The toilets weren't very clean either. For a place claiming four-star quality, they should take a hard look at themselves. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The rooms are tiny, and you can hear everyone else. Breakfast barely exists and has no variety. You also have to pay an extra 60 euros per day to use the hotel's beach. The place is severely overpriced, and there are far better options for this money.
