The owner’s vinSanto is a must-try. The apartments work well, and there’s a small pool for summer. It’s a lovely spot with a great view.

The apartment is simple but comfortable, and having the pool there makes the stay feel complete. The location and views are enchanting, too. Daniela was so available and thoughtful with her hospitality. I’d gladly stay again if I’m back in the area, and I’d recommend it to anyone.

I was here for a graduation party, so I can’t really say anything about the rooms or amenities. The setting is charming, though, with a beautiful view, and I came away with a very positive impression.

Rocca del Maestrino has a lovely view over Quarrata and a quiet setting, and I had a great time there. The property is well kept. I did find lots of bugs in the house, but given that it’s up in the mountains, I’m not taking off any stars for that.

I’ve known this place for years. When visibility is really good, you can see the whole plain from Pistoia to Florence from the fortress, the area people call the “Metropolitan Plain.”
