The orange room felt like a lovely little nod to my Dutch roots. It was roomy and well set up, with a big bed and bathroom, and those creaky floors suited the old house. The B&B’s care for its past shows in the restored antique furniture and original plates and tableware. I hadn't planned to stay here, but motorcycle trouble sent me looking for somewhere nearby, and this place was only a short walk from the garage. Baishali and Rocco were fantastic, welcoming hosts. Their language skills really helped when I needed to translate with the local garage. Breakfast started the day well, especially the waffles, and their adorable dog was another highlight. I’d recommend it to anyone after history, comfort, and genuine hospitality.
