La Forma Dell'acqua

We only had a week at "The Shape of Water", but we're already missing it. We've stayed in high quality rentals and B&Bs before, and none have matched this place. The whole family loved the fairytale feel of the house and the genuine warmth from Simona, Alessandro, and the very sweet Carletta. The property is beautiful and finished with care, from its furnishings to the dishes, linens, and fabrics. It was extremely clean inside and out. Between relaxing among the carob trees, dwarf junipers, and lemon trees, we spent time in the splendid pool. It's also central to the best known beaches in this part of Sardinia. This stay gave me a sense of wonder and satisfaction I wish I could share. My husband and son felt it too, and our holiday at the "Form of Water" will stay in our hearts. Simona and Alessandro quietly became part of our lives and made us feel like family. We're deeply grateful, we'll see you again very soon, and we highly recommend this enchanting place.

The breakfast was delicious and generous, with traditional Sardinian products, and the apartment was in a great location and immaculately maintained. We stayed for a week and had a wonderful time. Alessandro and Simona were welcoming and helpful. We left reluctantly, but can't wait to come back.

From the welcome treats, traditional Sardinian sweets, fruit, and plenty of drinks, to the evening when they let us use the barbecue and offered us limoncello, we felt cared for throughout. The owners welcomed us like their own children, and their kindness felt rare. We felt at home, which meant the most to me. The property is enchanting, with incredibly comfortable rooms and every quality you could want. Simona is such a sweet person, like a mother welcoming her children. I'll never forget her. We hugged for a long time when we left, and it's a shame our stay was short. We'll definitely return, for both the beautiful house and the affection they showed us. The beautiful pool, lawn, and relaxation area were the icing on the cake, along with the lovely view and peaceful setting. For our third anniversary, my partner and I arrived full of excitement, and being welcomed into the house only made us happier. The owner greeted us like a mother welcoming her children, it felt like a fairytale. The house has every comfort, and the owners are loving people who listen to what their guests need. They pampered us and made this special occasion feel like home, with every luxury. It really felt like a dream. Would I recommend "The Shape of Water"? Definitely. I'll book another holiday there myself, and recommend it to anyone wanting peace and a few days away from the usual routine.
