Country Salenthouse

I came for quiet countryside and found it, with the sea 2.5 km away and no coastal-road traffic. We stayed in the rear mini-apartment, whose lovely patio always gets a light breeze that helps with the summer heat. There are two mini-apartments and they share kitchen facilities. The mattress sits on brick instead of a bed base, but I found it quite comfortable. There's also a brick barbecue and a very comfortable hammock. The service is quick and helpful if you call. Just don't leave your key inside when you go out, or you'll be locked out. Bring extra clothespins for swimsuits, since there are only two for the two drying racks. The bathroom has plenty of shelves, but if you need a two-square-meter shower or have endless toiletries, look elsewhere. Also take care pulling out of the property: the fence blocks the view of cars coming from the left, and a mirror across the road would be needed. I liked the place and recommend it.

The best part for me was coming back from the beach to unwind here. The nearest beach is only a short drive away, even though the property isn't right by the sea. I had such a peaceful, beautiful holiday, with fiery sunsets over dinner on the veranda and figs to pick around the house in the morning. I'd really recommend the experience.

Set among the characteristic vegetation of Apulia, this is a peaceful place. The cottage is entirely self-contained and has pretty much everything you need.

If you like unwinding among the olive trees of Salento, this is a very peaceful spot.
