Garni Bergland

The owner was always smiling and super kind, and she had suggestions for activities for hikers and people who like to travel and see new countries. Breakfast was just the right amount of variety, and her scrambled eggs were delicious. I loved this peaceful place, surrounded by greenery with animals wandering freely around. The little house looks like it belongs in a painting, and the room was large, warm, and welcoming, with a breathtaking mountain view. It really felt like a fairy tale. I’d come back and highly recommend it to anyone who loves peace and quiet.

We only had two days here while passing through, which was a shame. The area, hosts, and atmosphere were unbeatable. We'd happily return, and next time we'll definitely stay longer.

We'd booked for just one night on our way through, but the hosts' warm welcome and our incredibly cozy room made us want to stay longer right away. They were already full from the next day, yet called around the neighborhood and found us another room. Such a kind thing to do. Breakfast was fantastic, and when we said we preferred not to have the overhead light on, they brought us a candle. I was really touched by that thoughtful gesture. Five stars plus, wholeheartedly!

Mrs. Erika was kind and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious, simple, and healthy, with yogurt and homemade ciambellone. Dogs are welcome, and guests get an active card for free rides on the three Racines-Ladurns-Montecavallo cable cars, plus access to other museums and activities. The guesthouse is simple and sits in the valley near the road, making it handy for visiting the Ridanna Valley and the area around Vipiteno. There are lots of walks suitable for families with children. The only downside for me was that the mattresses and pillows were a bit uncomfortable, but overall it’s good value for the price.
