Hotel Gasteigerhof

We had an excellent, relaxing one-night stay at Anett Hotel, and would recommend it. The staff were excellent and very helpful, breakfast had a good range of food and fruit, and we appreciated the two EV chargers in the parking lot since we were driving an electric vehicle. Our superior room was spacious and comfortable, with an amazing view of the Alps from bed. A few practical details could be better. There was no phone to call reception, no tea or coffee maker, and the cupboards had no handles. We had to go downstairs to ask for a kettle. I also would have liked a shower door, as we were traveling with our dog, who loves water. The first-floor room was beside the road, and with no AC, leaving the door open meant we heard a lot of traffic noise overnight.

We'd happily return to Anett Hotel if we're in Südtirol again. It's in the mountains near Vipteno, a cute little village known for its excellent dairy products, like yoghurt. The cleanliness and spaciousness of the rooms exceeded what we expected, as did the service in the hotel restaurant. Every dinner was excellently prepared and presented, and breakfast was delicious and very complete. I'd definitely recommend the half-board (Mezza pensione). Thanks again for a fantastic stay.

The staff across the restaurant, reception, and housekeeping were all so friendly and helpful, and made my stay perfect. I was traveling with a dog, and they gave her a special food tray. She was also welcome in one area of the restaurant. I stayed five nights. The newly renovated rooms and restaurant are stylish and modern. Breakfast had a good selection of quality local food, and the restaurant meals were so tasty and beautifully presented. Don't skip dessert, every one I tried was amazing! The spa was relaxing, with a nice atmosphere and views. It's a great base for skiing and hiking in winter, with plenty of parking.

The food is the star here. If you're wondering about half-board, just enjoy it. The chef seems to love the work, and you can taste it in every meal. We stayed for a week. There was almost nowhere else with snow, and the mountain views were great. Ski resorts were an 8 min drive away, with historic sights and groceries also nearby. The facilities and rooms were good, with balconies, a pool with an awesome view, a spa, and enough parking. Thanks for the experience!
