All the seats outside were taken, so I ended up spending a day in my room. The outdoor pool only seems to have around twenty deck chairs, which isn’t enough for the number of guests. I also had a gift card from my dad for a massage, but when I went to reception, there were no appointments left. Service was poor. The food was terrible for me, and they should have some simple Italian choices, like pasta or pizza. As an Italian guest, I felt bad that the staff barely spoke the language, and we had a lot of misunderstandings.

Great spot, and the owners and staff are lovely. The hotel itself is nice too. Just be aware that a bathroom under a sloped roof is awkward, you can’t stand at your full height.

We stayed in August 2014 and had a special experience we still remember. The hotel sits at the foot of the Stubai Alps, in the peaceful, beautiful Ridnaun-Ridanna Valley in northern Italy.

I can only comment on the restaurant and its service, and both were very good. The menus were reasonably priced, and the service staff were very friendly.
