The views and countryside around the villa are stunning, and I'd consider coming back. We stayed with a big group, including babies and children, and there was plenty of room for the kids, though they needed constant watching in the garden and pool area because one side has no fence. The pool isn't heated, so the children could only stay in for a short time. In sunny weather it was in the 20s, and hotter days would probably have made swimming more comfortable. The villa has several rooms and indoor and outdoor dining areas, plus air conditioning in the bedrooms. The host was friendly and attentive.

The pool area is lovely, and this is a nice old house when the weather is sunny. Staying out in the countryside? This place could suit you. But when it rains, a lot of water gets inside. The road there is rough and hard to find, and you have to drive for 10 minutes with the luggage!

An amazing villa in a fantastic setting.

The little barbecue spot, the pond, vineyards, and old stone walls all make this a magnificent place in the heart of typical Chianti countryside. It was wonderfully quiet, with a pool and lots of nature. We even might have seen foxes and deer, if you're lucky. Everything was perfect.

A peaceful, beautiful spot right in Chianti, with striking scenery and Siena and Florence only a short distance away.
