The house is well furnished, with a living room and kitchen on each floor, and two bedrooms and two toilets. The kitchens have the basic equipment needed to cook dinners. The first floor also has two bedrooms and a kitchen-dining room. There’s access to the pool from the living-room level. We enjoyed staying here with good friends, and the countryside setting is lovely and peaceful. The house has an attractive Italian style and gives you a real taste of idyllic country life. We appreciated the fresh air and beautiful Tuscan scenery. The three-star rating comes from a number of problems. The pool is worn, with cracked tiles and an edge that looks close to falling off, as in the attached picture. Two of the three toilets were faulty: one was completely loose, and another had a seat that was broken on one side. We reported this, but nothing was fixed. The pool also wasn’t cleaned during our week. Finding the house is difficult because its Google Maps location doesn’t match the actual location. The access road is in poor shape, and our ST car scraped its underside on the edge every time we drove out. There are also two dogs belonging to the horse property in front of the house. They act aggressively and run in front of cars. One snapped at a guest heading out for a morning run and bit her shorts. Because of this, we had to tell the children they couldn’t ride their bikes or go up the road. One night, we heard a dog near “our” house.
