We spent two weeks here and would happily come back. It was a great choice for a quiet, relaxing holiday. The old building was lovely to stay in, each of our kids had their own room, and our dog was happy too. We cooked together and ate outside, and took it easy by the pool and Whirlpool. Shopping facilities are nearby. About 5 km away there's a river where we took our dog swimming to cool down. The owner checked in twice. Beware! We were two families in the “Basilico” house down the road, and it was in an awful state: run down and dirty, with no warm water in the kitchen, old mattresses, and a broken kitchen counter. The listing makes the place look much better than it is. Some of the furniture has been replaced with older, uglier pieces than the ones in the pictures. The pool was the one nice part, and it was cleaned almost every day. We won't be coming back.

There were bugs under the bed covers, and the sheets were dirty. Under the bed and other furniture were dust bunnies the size of actual bunnies, with old cobwebs all over the place.

A great spot in a classic Tuscany landscape. And last but not least, there's a chance you might meet a ghost.
