Breakfast was a real treat, with fresh bread and pastries, homemade jam, good coffee, fruit and vegetables. Sciaraviva also makes wine, and it’s well worth trying. Our stay felt welcoming from the start: the host was lovely and helpful with ideas for outings, and the apartments are beautifully designed among the vineyards, with a stunning view of Etna. Being on the volcano’s southern side made it a handy base for hikes and trips up the mountain. We’d gladly recommend it for a stay in the Etna area.
