The hotel is in a beautiful part of Ragusa, near the historic old town, Corso Mazzini, and the Ragusa Belvedere. Damiano, who seemed to be the owner and handled our check-in and check-out, was professional, warm, and welcoming. He even helped carry one of our bags to the room. He also gave us a city map and suggested some great restaurants. Our room was sublime, with comfortable beds, a spacious bedroom, and a fully renovated bathroom stocked with slippers and toiletries. It smelled very pleasant, and the balcony had an amazing view of Ragusa. Breakfast was included and delicious, with high-quality local ingredients, pastries, and juices. There seem to be only three rooms at Ad Maiora - Design Rooms, but the attention to guests feels like a high-end five-star hotel. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Ragusa. Free street parking is available nearby in the white parking spaces, depending on availability. We had no major trouble finding a spot for our car.

Damiano communicated superbly and gave excellent service. He’ll go out of his way to help. The room was spacious, clean, and very nice, with a lovely balcony looking over the valley. It’s well located near Ragusa old town. Breakfast was very good too.

The location is very central, yet the street is calm and quiet. We stayed one night and felt welcome and well looked after throughout. Damiano was a wonderful host, and everything was perfect, from his clear messages beforehand and the personal check-in to the reserved parking spot, big beautiful room, and breakfast we could choose for ourselves. One of our best stays anywhere. I’d recommend it to anyone.

We’ve stayed here again and again, and I’d recommend it any day. The location is excellent, the rooms are spacious, comfortable, and always spotless, and the host is attentive, accommodating, and very helpful. Breakfast is good too.

Damiano, the host, was considerate and helpful, with great care for every detail. The rooms are spacious and clean, and breakfast was great. Definitely a 10/10, a place I’d recommend.
