This campsite feels straight out of the 1950s. The sanitary facilities are in dire need of renovation, and some toilets are locked. If you arrive later to shower, you only get cold water. The paths are uneven, with pine roots making them a series of ups and downs. The staff are friendly, though. The only two reasons to come are the beach, about 150 meters away, and the nearby town.

It was a great experience. The staff were very professional, and the food was delicious. If there were a word of praise to give, I'd give it. It's a beautiful facility for families.

The staff were always smiling, kind, helpful, and never intrusive, and the entertainment was top-notch. I spent the first week of September at Baia del Sole with my four children, and we had a wonderful time. It's a wonderful place, with parking available, so there's no need to get back in the car once you're there. The rooms could use a little updating, but nothing major. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back.
