The views from the top are stunning, with rolling hills, distant villages, and that soft golden countryside light. Castello Vecchio stands high above the landscape, and its ancient stone walls, towers, and peaceful courtyards make it easy to picture the lives once lived there. Its history, from noble families and battles to traditions that shaped the region, comes through in the atmosphere. The restoration respects the original character while making a visit comfortable. Whether you're there for the history, photos, or a quiet afternoon, this beautiful, serene place stays with you. A real hidden treasure.

The town is beautiful, and the location was just right. We had a lovely stay and thoroughly enjoyed it. Virginia and her adorable dog will look after you, and she enjoys getting to know her guests. Please let her know when you expect to arrive. She is elderly. Thanks so much, Virginia!

Breakfast was a lovely part of the stay, served in an elegant room with frescoed ceilings and a balcony overlooking the city. Mrs. Virginia shared stories about the building and Ragusa's traditions, and we enjoyed the friendly atmosphere. There were typical Ragusa treats, including biscuits and fresh ricotta with honey and jams. The building itself, dating from the early 1900s, has a charming elegance and the retro feel people look for in Ragusa Ibla and Sicily's art cities. The period furniture is beautifully preserved, and our room was spotless, with fresh linens and air conditioning. Mrs. Virginia made us feel at home with her warm, attentive welcome and was always ready to help. It’s also one of the few B&Bs in Ibla with ample free parking. Thank you for your hospitality. We’ll choose it again next time and highly recommend it.

My family and I had a wonderful time. Charlie, Brunella, and Simone thank Mrs. Virginia for her hospitality. She’s always friendly with her guests. The rooms are spotless, with fresh linens, air conditioning, and heating, in a beautiful historic place with an old-fashioned atmosphere. Breakfast is served in a splendid room with early 1900s frescoed ceilings. Highly recommended!!!
