Evoca

We’ll always remember our stay at Evoca B&B. Mama made us feel so welcome, and the beautiful rooms and valley view from the terrace made it easy to spend a few evenings just relaxing there. The breakfasts at the hotel down the road were fantastic. It was easily the nicest place we stayed in Sicily, and we’d highly recommend it.

The stonework was one of the things we loved most, it felt as if the rooms had been carved from Ragusa Ibla itself. The room was comfortable and thoughtfully equipped, with plenty of water, snacks, and drinks, and the views from both the room and terrace were stunning. Ragusa felt like art, and staying at Evoca B&B was like stepping into a fairytale or an old romantic painting. Giuseppe was funny, charming, and so friendly. He helped us figure out parking, then came to get us and our bags and guide us up the steep, narrow, winding paths. He also helped us plan our time, shared tips for Ragusa and nearby towns, and sent parking directions and suggestions for our next stops. We took his recommendations and had a spectacular time. Mamma cleaned the room, even found one of my contact lenses and saved it for me in solution. We loved being there and wished we could have stayed longer, so we’ve promised ourselves we’ll come back.

The hosts were the nicest people! We had a lovely room, a great terrace view, and an excellent breakfast. The location was great too.

Pepe and Mama were so generous and kind, and their tips were great. The breakfast was delicious, too. It’s one of my favorite places in Sicily, with a beautiful, comfortable space in a top-notch location. I really didn’t want to leave, and I’ll be back!
