Le Scale Sul Barocco

You can walk to most of the sights from here, which made exploring easy. The setting has a character of its own, beside the historic Santa Maria delle Scale church and the steps down to Ragusa Ibla, in one of the city's prettiest areas.

The view across Ibla was splendid, and the Sicilian breakfast was generous as well as good quality. Salvatore and the staff were attentive and helpful, while room service and cleanliness were top notch. We spent 2 nights here and were very happy with our stay. We'd come back.

Having breakfast brought right to the room was a real treat. It was simple, but good. Salvatore was especially kind and attentive, and gave us lots of useful advice about getting around, places to eat, parking, and other travel details. We really appreciated it.

Salvatore is much loved by guests, and it's easy to see why: he was friendly, helpful, and full of good suggestions on where to go and eat. The B&B Le Scale Sull Barocco is right in the heart of Ragusa Ibla, close to the main baroque sights. Our room was clean, well cared for, and furnished with taste, mixing traditional touches with modern comforts. We had a picturesque view of the historic center, and the quiet surroundings made for a restful stay. Breakfast was another highlight, with plenty of variety, local products, and traditional Sicilian desserts prepared with care. It was a lovely way to start the day. Staying here added something to our trip beyond just having a place to sleep. A charming, comfortable spot with a warm welcome in baroque Sicily.
