The best part of our stay was the dinners and cooking class at Emilia and Michele’s home, a lovely way to experience authentic Sicily. We were there with our 9-month-old daughter, and Mangiabove was very baby-friendly: they provided a crib and high chair, and arranged a lovely, trustworthy babysitter while we ate just steps away. We could still see her on the baby monitor! We stayed in the Baronessa suite, which felt private and had a big patio with a spectacular view over the fields and ocean. The staff were superb, helping with anything we needed and sharing lots of recommendations for sights and restaurants nearby. Ragusa and Scicli make beautiful day trips about 30 minutes away, and Marina di Ragusa's beach town is only a 5-minute drive.

The accommodation was spacious, comfortable, and spotless, and the outdoor kitchen and gardens were a lovely surprise. We had a perfect 10-day stay at Mangiabove and can hardly recommend it enough. Booking was easy, and our questions beforehand about day trips were answered quickly and knowledgeably. Iggy welcomed us, showed us around his beautiful place, and shared a wealth of local knowledge. We met guests who had returned several times, and could see why. We enjoyed trips to Etna, Syracuse, Ragusa Ibla, Scicli, and the National Park. Thanks to Iggy and the team for a wonderful holiday. We'd gladly recommend it.

The hosts were the most impressive part, so kind and accommodating, and the food was superb. I enjoyed every minute of the Women's Retreat, and I'm already planning to come back. The rooms, grounds, and gathering spaces all felt welcoming and relaxing. I loved getting immersed in life in Sicily. Thank you all so much!

The cooking class was a real highlight, and the whole team was warm and helpful. Iggy welcomed us with lots of useful information that helped us settle in and enjoy the beautiful area. We loved Mangiabove from the moment we arrived. The resort's design pays close attention to detail and brings out the beauty of its natural surroundings. Our one regret is that we couldn't stay longer. We plan to return!

Four nights at the writers' retreat, and it was absolutely wonderful. I loved Timpa and the other studios, the guesthouse, the peaceful surroundings and succulents, the food, and of course the people. Lara, and your family and friends, thank you for being so welcoming. Love from the Netherlands.
