The photos were accurate, and the location was handy, so we arrived expecting a lot after reading the positive comments. But the service didn't match. At noon, there was a tense atmosphere, as if management and the employees had been in a serious argument. We felt that in how we were treated, though we tried not to dwell on it. In the room, we found clear signs that someone had used the bathroom. It was disgusting. For the rest of our stay I was afraid to touch anything, wondering when things had last been cleaned properly. They hadn't even checked that everything flushed away. We only stayed one night, and a dog barked outside our window all night, making it a difficult, unpleasant stay. The staff were friendlier on the second day, but by then the experience had already left us with a bad feeling. Honestly, I wouldn't go out of my way to visit Sicily. I kept feeling like I'd accidentally ended up in Italy's "bad neighborhood," and the streets had a lot of garbage.

The staff had that warm, kind Sicilian way about them, and the food selection was superb. The hotel is in a great spot in Ragusa, with peaceful, dreamy surroundings. Our room was spacious, immaculate, beautifully decorated, and really lovely. Definitely recommend it.

The rooms and location at P43 Sicilian Suites may look appealing, but the service fell well short of what I expected. Some staff treated me in a way that felt disrespectful and unwelcoming, and came across as discriminatory. Management handled it poorly, and the customer service overall seemed careless and unprofessional. For the price, I expected much more respect and hospitality. I can't recommend this place.

The breakfast was cold toast, judgmental looks, and distant laughter from children, though there weren't any children in the hotel. The bed had stains worthy of a bad thriller, and the plumbing was questionable. In our room, the lights flickered, a portrait seemed to move, and the closet creaked by itself at 3:00 AM. Coincidence, if you believe in that sort of thing. From the moment we entered, we felt watched by the chandelier, the curtains, and maybe the wallpaper. The lobby had a serial-killer-on-a-budget look, and the receptionist whispered like we were at a séance. A stay for anyone who enjoys a haunted atmosphere and the feeling they might not make it to checkout.
