The pool was the biggest letdown. It turned green, even though we used it every day and tried to clean it each evening. I'm not convinced the water was treated at all, and the owner never came to check the chlorine levels. We were six people staying for a week, and I'd warn others against booking. Some things didn't work, the rooms smelled musty, the kitchen wasn't especially clean, the gas bottle ran out with no spare, and a couple of bathrooms stank. The accommodation has real potential and seems to have been well cared for in the past, but now it feels tired and unloved. I appreciate rustic Sicilian charm, but after seeing the Airbnb photos, the place was a real disappointment in person.

Such a peaceful place, I loved it and wish I lived here. The owner welcomed us and upgraded our room. I'll be back, and I'd recommend it very much.

Lovely, quiet place to stay. The owner was always around and helpful with any questions. I'd definitely recommend it to everyone, with or without family!

Carmelo and his sons were the best hosts I've ever met. They were always available, even lending us their car, and made sure we were comfortable the whole time. Everything about the house was as described, and the stay was pure relaxation for a couple or a group. Pica Pica deserves six stars. We'll be back ⭐️
