Sud Est Le Case di Elisa

We had an easy, comfortable stay thanks to the owners, who were so helpful. The apartment itself was spotless and clearly well looked after. Highly recommend!

What keeps us coming back to Marina di Ragusa each summer is the sunshine, beaches, food, quiet, exercise, and the lovely nearby towns. Staying at Appartamenti Sud Est is a big part of it too. After seven years, it feels almost like a second home. We've stayed in four different apartments in the complex, and every one was spotless and well stocked. They're about 300m from the beach, with the main square an easy walk away through the neighboring houses and apartments by the shore. The staff are welcoming, professional, and caring, and they check in to make sure everything's fine or see whether we need towels or bedclothes washed. They're also great at suggesting places to eat and visit, and arranging airport transport. I can't recommend the place more highly.

Our third-floor flat had an astonishing sea view across about 130 degrees, and the terrace was even bigger than the apartment. The building is recent and faces southwest, so it gets plenty of daylight. I stayed in late April, when there was hardly anyone else in the building. The staff were extremely kind and gave us lots of useful tips for Marina di Ragusa. A few drawbacks: there's no elevator, we had to leave the car on the street because we couldn't use the garage, and both the bedroom and bathroom were very small. Still, I thought the apartment was very good overall.

The block is well maintained and makes a practical self-catering base. It's well placed for Marina di Ragusa, and the beach is only a short walk downhill. You can see the sea in the distance from the building.
