At Poggio Roseto, Jenny and her family welcomed us in for Easter weekend and included us in their celebrations. The food, wine, and company were all lovely. In the morning we had coffee looking out over the garden, listening to the birds and watching the dog, cat, and chickens wander around. It’s a wonderful place, with a view of the mountain from the property. The accommodation was spacious, including the shower and bathroom. Thanks, Jenny. It was a lovely place to stay for our evening and night while heading from Taormina to the northern coast.

Poggio Roseto is a peaceful escape from the bustle, surrounded by Sicily’s natural beauty with breathtaking views of Mount Etna. The property is impeccably maintained, and the spacious, clean rooms pair modern comforts with rustic charm. What stays with me most is the host’s genuine kindness and hospitality. We quickly felt like part of the family, and the local tips and stories helped us understand the area and its culture better. We left with beautiful memories and a wonderful new friendship. A great choice for a quiet, authentic Sicilian stay.

We really felt at home at Poggio Roseto. Genny is friendly and so helpful, and the apartment is beautiful. I loved relaxing in the garden and listening to how peaceful it was. There are a few cats and a dog who come over to say hello when you arrive.

The cottage is a timepiece, and we’ve already recommended it to friends. Jenny and her husband were incredibly welcoming and helpful, even going out of their way to help us get to Randazzo. We had a lovely, peaceful stay and really enjoyed the beautiful surroundings.

Genny is a caring, very helpful host. This lovely rural place is perfect for peace and nature lovers, and well placed for visiting Etnean villages or walking the paths of Etna and Nebrodi.
