Hotel Mirò

We spent a week here with our three-year-old, and it was great. The staff were attentive and incredibly welcoming. It’s a classic Italian hotel right across from the sea, with small rooms that are very comfortable and spotlessly clean. They clean daily. Breakfast is optional and served at a nearby pastry shop, where the hotel gives you vouchers. You can park on side streets with a permit from the hotel. Grazie mille!

The setting really captures Rapallo's atmosphere, with restaurants and bars close by and a lively feel. We had impressive views, and the staff were warm and welcoming. Our room was simple but clean. I'd gladly return to Hotel Miro.

We were able to use our room when we arrived early on the night train, which was very kind of the host. It's a small hotel with 10 rooms on the first floor; the corridor looks a little old, but our room was pleasant and clean, with heated bathroom flooring and a kettle. The street can be noisy, though the location is handy for exploring the Ligurian coast: the station is walkable, and the beach promenade, restaurants, ferry and beach are nearby. The private beach area costs quite a bit. Breakfast was basic but fine, and you can eat outside.

The reception staff were kind and always available. Our room was spacious and generally clean, and the bathroom was fine, though it had no window and the shower was a bit small, with some black spots. The hotel is in a fantastic location.
