This is a hostal, not a hotel. I was told another guest's dog had peed all over the place, and after hearing that I couldn't sleep properly. The photos look at least 50 years old; now the sign is sun-bleached, and the wooden floors and furniture are wrecked. If you want a nice holiday, spend a little more and stay somewhere better.

There's a surprisingly good trattoria attached to the hotel, run by the same people. The owners are kind and make you feel at home, and my room was very clean. It's close to the center and almost right by the sea. I'll definitely come back.

We stayed just one night and enjoyed the walk, the view, and the stay. The place has an interesting atmosphere, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom had been updated. Then we were off on our travels the next day.

The air conditioning was great, and the room was beautiful. This was my favourite villa on our Italy trip in 2022. Across the street, Simonetti gelateria is worth recommending.
