B&B Stella Del Germano

The real reason I’d come back is Stella and Mauro. Their warm hospitality, friendship, and Osteria del Benandante made the stay special. I enjoyed the natural flavors, healthy organic food, and wines Mauro recommended. There’s also an arrangement with the Vecchia Quercia spa in Rapolano, just a five-minute drive away, for a relaxing break in a serene, charming setting. The house feels like home as soon as you walk in. Mauro and Stella greet you like family, explain the woods around the property and how the keys and automatic gate work, then happily talk about what makes the place and its people special, and their wish to keep it pristine, natural, and pure. All three fairly spacious rooms are named after their daughters. We were lucky to get one full of art, with beautiful furnishings and floors, an ample comfortable bathroom, and a lovely bed that let me sleep well. Breakfast with the other guests was a nice time to plan the day. Mauro brought cakes, biscuits, bread, and coffee, and was happy to provide whatever we asked for.
