It has a lovely atmosphere, almost like visiting an Italian grandmother in the countryside. The pillows were uncomfortable to sleep on, though. Please change them.

The price was good for what you get, and the accommodation itself was very nice. But the building was too cold, and our room stayed at a low temperature, so we kept our jackets on. The driveway was icy and slippery and made parking difficult, though there’s another parking lot around the corner. The owner doesn’t speak English, and the receptionist, who does, isn’t there all the time.

The room was comfortable and the people were nice, but getting in was a frustrating start. We arrived on time and nobody was there, so we waited two hours for the owner to let us in. There wasn’t even much of an apology. The place is full of stuffed animals, and the smell from the cows becomes unbearable in the morning.

The host is friendly and quick to reply to emails, and breakfast is great. The room is spacious, though the European bed felt a bit on the firm side.
