Frida Am Wald

The room was clean, spacious, and cozy, with a balcony looking out at the mountains. Waking up to that view felt unreal, and we had everything we needed. The sauna area was spotless and well maintained, with several kinds of saunas and a nice pool. There was even delicious tea from a samovar. We could also borrow bikes for free to explore the area, and it’s well worth doing. Breakfast was incredible. A waiter greeted you, showed you to your table, and that table was yours for the whole stay. The presentation was beautiful and the quality felt like a restaurant. The chef was amazing, and I loved starting each morning there. You could order eggs how you liked them, served like fine dining, alongside smoked salmon, cold cuts, sweet treats, and coffee. I’ll always remember the buckwheat cake. The staff were wonderful, always smiling, helpful, and quick to respond. They helped with everything from breakfast service and laundry to local tips. It all ran like clockwork. This hotel truly made our holiday. Thank you again, I already want to come back! ♥️

The breakfast buffet was a real highlight, with lots of fresh fruit, cheeses, meats, yogurt, bread, and plenty more. Everyone at the hotel was friendly, and the receptionist gave us such good local tips that we changed some of our plans and were very happy we did. We were a group of friends staying three nights to explore the region and hike around the Dolomites. One evening after hiking, we tried the spa and came out feeling very relaxed. I also had a brilliant view from my room, and my two friends had a great balcony view. We highly recommend this place! 😊

We stayed at Frida with the whole family and absolutely loved it. The staff were super friendly, and the rooms were clean, nice, and cozy. Breakfast was superb, with an amazing selection of good quality ingredients. We went skiing every day, and the bus ride from the hotel was only 10 minutes. We were extremely satisfied with our stay.

I stayed for about a month and had a good experience. The owner and his wife are very kind. One of the women serving breakfast was a bit rude, though. Overall, it was a great stay.
