Giardini Calce Luxury Rooms

My husband and I ducked into Calce Pizzeria, just to the right of the hotel, last night while looking for somewhere outdoors to eat. The covered dining area was just right in the light rain. They seated us straight away, and we ordered a beer and soda before looking through the extensive menu. We watched them make the pizzas fresh in their beautiful oven and chose a traditional margherita, though there were lots of creative options. After 10 days in Italy and plenty of pizza, we both agreed it was the best of our trip: thin base, thick chewy crust, and just the right amount of tomato sauce. Highly recommend for a more casual dinner in Ravello.

Maybe a 3.5 for me. It was a cute, clean room, nicely updated and styled. Friendly staff, and the cafe coffee and omelet were good, while the pizzeria's pizza was great. Those were the only amenities on site. Our A/C wasn't working that well, but it wasn't terrible, so we didn't push for another room. The bed was the biggest issue for me, very firm. I'm looking forward to a softer one tonight. Ravello itself is lovely, charming and less crowded than the towns below.

Freshly made, with a crisp but soft crust and a really good size. Possibly the best pizza I've ever had. Plenty of toppings to choose from, good antipasto for a light snack, and friendly, attentive staff.

After our Amalfi to Ravello hike with Fitcation tours, we ate at their outdoor restaurant. Great service, excellent pizza and ice cold beer. There are about 20 pizzas to choose from, and I get the Siciliana every time. They have a wood pizza oven covered in tiles.
