Breakfast at Mimi’s pizzeria was great, with plenty to choose from. It’s about a four minute walk from the room, though, like everywhere in Ravello, the walk is a bit uphill. The place itself is a quiet ground-floor room in a large old villa, with its own entrance and a small seating area outside. It’s a short, not especially uphill walk to the cathedral square, and the location is peaceful. We had the quadruple room so each of us could have a bed, including the sofa bed. There’s no door between the two rooms, but the bed layout and the step down into the main bedroom gave us enough privacy. The beds were very comfortable. Thick walls kept the room cool, as you’d expect in an old house, though we used the air conditioning to lower the humidity. There’s one small window with shutters, a good shower, a small fridge, air conditioning, and a TV in the front room. A cleaner came daily, and the owners responded quickly on WhatsApp. For the location, facilities, and breakfast, it was amazing value for money.
