It was okay. The apartment is about a 15-minute walk from the city center, and the beach is 15 minutes away by car. The popular Darsena Pop-up is next door, as is the fine Ristorante Pizzeria Bio Alchimia.

The location is excellent, peaceful and quiet but still just steps from the historic center. The apartment is a decent size, bright, and well heated, and having parking downstairs and an elevator was very convenient. I wanted to give it five stars for all that. But it was VERY DIRTY, which made the stay uncomfortable. And it seems little has been done to improve the service in recent years, even after previous reviews. Such a shame.

The stay felt like a low-budget horror movie, right down to the black curtains that made the place seem like a torture chamber. Behind the radiator we found a bra that looked like it had been left there decades ago. The beds were another ordeal, with springs digging into our backs. And as if the stay weren't penitential enough, we were expected to take our trash to the bin before leaving. What a talent the management has for making a stay so unforgettable in the worst way.

It was a nice little apartment, but extremely dirty. The curtains were heavy and filthy, and that was especially bad with the poor air conditioning. The beds were very uncomfortable on the slope, the furniture was dirty, and there were no tools to clean the floors, particularly after a shower. There were even dead insects on the floor. I reported everything with a video when we arrived, but got no reply.

Please wash the curtains, they're disgusting. The walls need attention too, especially where there's mold or plaster coming off. It would help to leave a mop for cleaning. Not everyone stays just a short while, and people staying for months need to be able to keep the place clean.
