The bathroom was completely moldy, and the bunk bed had no ladder. Breakfast service was terrible too. They couldn't refill the food and shouted at us, saying we were bringing in sand.

The staff treated foreign guests rudely, and the room was dirty. The linens didn't seem to have been properly washed either. We stayed last week, and it was such a letdown that we won't return.

The building has a beautiful look, though it seems like it may have been a good hotel way back in the 1950s. The rooms need renewal: old doors and furniture, lights that don't all work, uncomfortable pillows, and a mattress that feels like a rock. The bathroom is tiny, old, and poorly maintained. The service was shameful. At breakfast, which was good, one employee shouted our order from the doorway instead of coming over, even though we were already seated and eating. The employees were very impolite. I'm still here and have to pay through the end of my stay. If you're on holiday, don't choose this place. Honestly, it could ruin your time in Italy. A terrible experience.

The team are so kind, and they really do more than you'd expect to help their guests.
