The pools are great for kids, the shop is well stocked, and the serviced comfort pitches are huge and easy to get onto. Check-in was very straightforward, and the site is good value. But it feels tired, and the locks on the men's toilet doors in the cafe are broken. The electrical point is locked, so when the fuse trips, someone from the office has to come and open it. It happens if you run the hot water boiler and kettle at once. That means a 15-20 minute wait for a five-second reset, and you have to do the same thing when leaving so someone can unplug you. I can't see a good reason for that, and it's a real pain. The gardeners are also REALLY efficient, mowing and strimming all day except during quiet hour. I know the work needs doing, but they could maybe handle one area at a time for a couple of hours. It's a good site, but we won't stay here again.

Our mobile home was roomy for three, though I think six people would find it tight. It had two bedrooms off the central kitchen and living area: one with a 140x200 bed and ensuite bathroom, the other with twin 80x200 beds. The second bathroom opened off the main room. The kitchen had cutlery and cooking items, a large fridge and freezer, and a four-burner gas stove, but no oven or microwave. There was also an Italian-channel TV, a large sofa that could turn into a bed, and an AC unit available for 12 hours a day. We needed it less than expected. Wi-Fi was poor in our unit, though better at the pool cafe. Bring bug spray for mosquitoes outside. We stayed in a “prestige” mobile home at the back of this family-friendly campground in mid-June, during the “Pfingsten” school holidays from Germany. Booking was easy, staff answered my questions quickly, and check-in was quick too after I did the online pre-check-in. The office staff spoke German and English. There was ample parking and a roomy garden for hanging out and storing bikes. We used the large covered wooden porch a lot for meals at the provided table and chairs, keeping beach things, and drying clothes on the rack. Two sun loungers were included. The sandy beach is about a two-minute walk from the front gate. The water was warm, sometimes calm like a swimming pool and at other times wavy and a bit rough. There's a free beach with a lifeguard, or you can pay 22€ a day for two loungers and an umbrella at the campground beach club. I liked that a pine forest separates the beach from the road, so hotels don't spill right onto the shore. It was fairly quiet and not overcrowded. We ate at the beach club once. The food was typical for a beach club, and service was good. One of the two pools is just across the street. It has a very shallow kids' area and three slides, plus another side with different light massage jets and six loungers in the water with bubbles. It's not the place for a quiet pool away from kids. The pool stayed open until about 19:00. Beside it, the bar/cafe served our daily espresso and filled croissants for breakfast, as well as drinks, snacks, and light meals like sandwiches until about 19:00. The staff were kind and helpful even though we speak very little Italian. There was a “disco” hour around 16:30-17:30 that we could hear loudly from our home. It was fine, but keep it in mind if you want a quiet nap then. The campground's little shop had things you might have forgotten or not known you needed, from swimsuits and beach toys to toiletries and electronics accessories. We liked picking up fresh focaccia from the bakery/deli counter, which also sold cheeses and meats. The fresh ricotta was great. Prices were reasonable for the convenience. The market closed for siesta around 13:00-16:00 and for the night at 19:30, and accepted cash or card. Casal Borsetti is a nice little beach town. We had handmade ice cream at the Cremeria, and the Despar is a decent supermarket, open daily apart from its 13:00-16:00 break. We biked to a nearby Agriturusmo restaurant. Comacchio's old city is about a 20-minute drive north.

We spent a week there from August 3, 2024, as a couple with three kids aged 11, 8, and 3. The camp itself was clean, with lots of facilities, and the public bathrooms were always being cleaned. What made it special for us was the animation team, the heart and soul of the camp. They were real professional performers, artistic and passionate, and entertained adults as much as the little ones without being invasive. Always smiling, professional, and respectful, they ran sports and fun activities all day for young and old, then baby dance every night followed by a theatrical show for adults. Thank you, I love it entertainment. On our last night the kids were in tears because they didn't want to leave.

It's a tidy, peaceful campsite, with lots of permanent pitches and very friendly people. The sanitary facilities are clean, though a little old and just okay. It's great for families with younger kids, although this isn't the most beautiful part of Italy.

We come back every year for sure. One of the best campings in the area, with a great place and baby dance team. Everything was perfect. Congratulations!
