The scenery is interesting, but it was unfortunately very dirty, as it seems to be in much of Sicily. The government doesn't seem able to look after its natural areas. Watch where you park: when we were there, all the cars near the viewpoint got tickets. They can make a lot of money this way, and tourists leave in a bad mood. A shame!

The white cliff here is unlike anywhere else, stretching down toward pristine beaches, and the sunset makes the place feel magical. It's one of the most beautiful views on Sicily's south coast. It would be lovely to walk down over the rocks and spend time on those beaches.
