The room and decor were fine, and breakfast was fine too. Dinner was also okay until the pasta main course, which was appalling, completely tasteless, and the worst I've ever had. I was so shocked that I didn't say anything at the time, but it really bothered me, especially as it wasn't cheap. Before arriving, we sent a few last-minute questions through their WhatsApp chat account on the day we were due to check in, but got no reply. When we got there, we were told the hotel had only been open for three months and was obviously a challenge to manage. That seemed odd, since there were only two guests in the hotel.

The innkeeper's personal attention made the stay especially memorable. She was warm and genuinely hospitable, made sure every need was met with a smile, and offered recommendations for local attractions along with tips on hidden gems. The setting was just as lovely: panoramic views over the Sicilian landscape, the blue Mediterranean, rolling hills, and countryside. I loved having morning coffee on the balcony and candlelit dinner at sunset. The place has an eclectic Bohemian look, with vibrant colors, handcrafted art, intricate textiles, and thoughtful details that blend modern comfort with an artistic feel. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere made me feel at home. It's a magical hotel tucked into the heart of Sicily, and I can't recommend it enough. A unique retreat with dreamlike views and lovely hospitality. I can't wait to return to this little slice of paradise.

CAUTION: We booked for October through booking.com, but the room was so unpleasant that we cancelled before staying overnight. The staff seemed unaware we were arriving, and the room key was damaged with no replacement available. The room was untidy, and we found hair and even a nail in the bathtub. The manager confirmed our departure but is refusing to refund us and now isn't responding to booking.com.

The gardens and views kept me happily occupied for hours, with the sea and valley right there to look at. We stayed in room #15 and loved all the little details; we felt really pampered. Everything is beautiful, peaceful, and so well cared for, and the people were generous and kind. After only an hour there, we decided to extend our stay. I'd gladly come back.
