It’s quiet and somewhat isolated, though only minutes from the village and Scala dei Turchi. The rooms look out to sea and were reasonably clean. There was no breakfast, the shower felt unsafe, the fridge was shared, and there were mosquitoes.

It worked as a base, and was reasonably clean, but nothing special. It’s a basic hotel on a hill, about 4 km from the sea. All you get is a room and a shared fridge in the hallway, with no breakfast. Doable, but I don’t think I’ll return.
Calogero is very kind and friendly. This B&B is quiet, with the sound of the wind and the smell of the sea, and has fenced parking. It’s a few kilometers from Scala dei Turchi and out of the way, so not right for anyone looking for nightlife.
The owner was kind and helpful, and at €75 a night the price was very good. We stayed three nights at this B&B on a beautiful stretch of coast. It’s well located if you have a car, but without one there aren’t nearby amenities. The clean room had a sea view, though it was a bit dated. There’s parking onsite. The rural property could use better upkeep, but it was still manageable. Breakfast was my one complaint. I expected something more authentic, but most of it was supermarket food. The fruit was excellent, and I believe it came from their garden. The breakfast room only seats four, and I think there are three or four rooms, so guests were told to eat in shifts. In the morning we were called and told it was our turn. While we ate, the owner stood waiting for us to finish so he could clean and serve the next guests. I found that way of managing breakfast unacceptable. Places usually set time slots so people can eat during their allotted time. If there isn’t enough space, a room could be given over to it or a spot set up in the garden. Even so, I still think it’s a place to stay.
The owner was very friendly, and we had a wonderful stay. We slept really well in a quiet, clean room, and the garden was lovely with all its fruit trees. Breakfast was nicely served, and they took the children’s wishes into account. Scala dei Turchi, the Turkish Staircase, is just a five-minute drive away. We received such a warm welcome, thank you!
