B&B Itala

The owners stay present throughout breakfast. It's a kind gesture, though it could feel a bit intimidating if you're shy or reserved. The meal is served in the basement and includes hot toast, snacks, packaged jams, juice cartons, milk, and coffee the owner makes in a moka pot. The rooms are clean and spacious, with handy things like hangers and baskets. The furniture is definitely dated, though, and the bathroom on the first floor next to the rooms could use an update. There are fans as well as air conditioning, but we didn't use the AC. Opening the windows at night was enough to cool and air out the rooms.

The location is great, only a five-minute walk from Recanati's main square, and you can park in the courtyard. We stayed one night, but I hope to come back. Mr. Daniele and his wife were textbook hosts, and the place felt very homely, clean, and comfortable. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious and functional.

The hosts were friendly and helpful, and the rooms and bathrooms were clean and tidy. This B&B is close to Recanati's lovely historic center, and it's well placed for visiting the beaches and historic towns in the surrounding hills.

The owners were incredibly kind. Mr. Daniele even fixed my slippers for me! We had a wonderful stay just below beautiful Recanati, a five-minute walk away, with spectacular views from the hills out to the sea. Porto Recanati is a 15-minute drive, and the Conero Riviera is only a few minutes farther. We'll be back!
