We had a wonderful honeymoon stay at Savernano in October 2025, during a three-week trip around Italy. The family running the B&B were friendly and very accommodating. Caterina collected us from Figline Valdarno train station, about 15 minutes away. The place is fairly remote, just above a small town with a shop, pharmacy and bar. The food was the best we had on the whole trip. We ate breakfast and dinner every day, at very fair prices, and the ingredients came from the local land. They also handled gluten-free meals easily. The room was roomy and spotless, with a very comfortable double bed and an en-suite bathroom with an excellent shower. There’s a pool, which we even used in October, sun loungers, and a viewpoint overlooking the area. There are also lots of seats outside the main breakfast and dinner space. Donkeys, cows, pigs and other wildlife live on the land. The family have two adorable dogs who love fetch, and an amazing parrot. We’d love to come back one day, maybe with a few friends, and would recommend it to anyone staying in the area.

Caterina and her family made us feel right at home. Their warmth and kindness really charmed us. The place itself is beautiful, and the rooms were clean and very comfortable. The food was amazing too, all homemade by Caterina’s mother with fresh local ingredients. Grazie per tutto! :)

The pool gets sun from morning until sunset, and dinner with home-grown wine was wonderful. Breakfast was Italian-style, though they always offered us fresh coffee or tea and scrambled eggs. The eggs were just perfect. We got a warm welcome, even with our late arrival at 10pm. The room was simple, spacious and clean, and the bathroom was just as tidy and roomy. The shower had the strong flow I like, absolutely heavenly. It's a stunning hilltop spot overlooking vineyards and green hills. Even the winding, steep drive up is an experience. A dream place to start our week in Tuscany.

We lived in Italy for three years, and the dinners here are easily among the best we’ve had. The family’s three lovely dogs were another highlight. The room was simple but nice, and the hotel sits on a hill with gorgeous views and sunsets. We had a great time at Savernano and plan to have at least one dinner there. I really recommend staying.

A great place to relax or explore, up on a Tuscan hill among olive trees and Chianti vineyards. The rooms are clean and well equipped, and there’s a pool. I loved the quiet, the rural feel, the people, the food and the wine and olive oil, as well as the view and laid-back atmosphere. It brings so many Tuscan flavours together.
