The hotel is family-run, with comfortable traditional rooms at very reasonable prices. We came across it during our trendtours bus trip through Tuscany, after visits to Pisa, Siena, Lucca, and Florence and all the usual cultural sights. The Croce di Savoia country estate hotel in the small town of Saltino was an unexpected delight. It's an enchanting building from 1896, from the time when Roman aristocrats came here for visits and summer stays. Here, surrounded by nature, I feel at home and can really unwind. The joy of life seems to come from the Croce di Savoia itself, the wonderful food, the family's warmth, and the welcome we received. Part of me wants to keep this idyllic place a local secret from the rest of Germany, but the experience deserves to be shared. Arrivederci, and hopefully see you soon! Once you're at the hotel, the place is beautiful. Getting there by bus was a challenge for the driver. The staff were very friendly, and both the service and food were excellent.

I was there with my passengers on a tour bus, and we were all pleasantly surprised. The staff were very friendly. We had to reverse the bus through the gate to park right in front of the hotel, but it all worked out fine. I'd highly recommend staying for a few days. I'd give the place even more stars if I could... 👍👌🥰

It's a lovely place for anyone looking for quiet and peace. The retro feel makes the hotel welcoming and pampering from the moment you arrive. The staff are all kind, helpful, and available whenever you need them. Peaceful surroundings, good food, and a friendly atmosphere make you feel at home. The efficient service adds to the idyllic setting. It feels like stepping back in time, when guests received pleasant attention without being fussed over.
