The house worked really well as a base for hikes and city visits. Florence, Lucca, Pisa, San Gimignano, and Siena are all not far, and the bedroom balconies look out over the Tuscan mountains. We especially liked the terrace by the large pool and the brick barbecue in the garden. The villa itself is furnished in a lovely Tuscan style, and the kitchen has everything, including a dishwasher and washing machine. Parking is either in front or in the private driveway. The owner looked after the place with care, and communication with the landlady was excellent from arrival through departure. It's beautifully located and peaceful. It was extremely hot during our visit, and unfortunately there is no air conditioning. Wi-Fi can be booked for €2 per day, though it wasn't great. I was on vacation, so that was fine. We had a great time and would highly recommend it.
