The patio and pool area have spectacular views, and the apartment is very comfortable. Manuela and Massimiliano were lovely, supportive hosts, and we had a great stay at the Rifugio al Sole. We’re already thinking about returning. Make sure to try their organic olive oil from their 120 olive trees. It’s the best we’ve ever had.

The air is wonderfully clear here, and the setting is magnificent, right by a nature reserve. It’s about a half-hour drive to Florence. Manuela and Massimo are the best hosts we’ve ever had.
